Full migration from Icinga to Checkmk, complete rebuild of the monitoring stack.

Approx. 100 hosts and 2,000+ services monitored. Proactive detection, faster troubleshooting cycles.

Lessons learned

A clean host and service structure matters more than simply adding more checks.

Monitoring needs ownership attached to it, otherwise it remains just a dashboard.

Migrations are the best moment to critically clean up old alerts and thresholds.
